Jalan - jalan ke Mekarsari

Pada hari Minggu, tanggal 31 Mei 2009 aqhu dan adikku Dhea jalan2 ke Mekarsari dari tempat les aqhu OXFORD UTOMO. Aqhu senang sekali, karena aqhu belum pernah ke Mekarsari sebelumnya. Pagi2 aqhu 'n Dhea udah siap2 u/ berangkat ke OXFORD karena ngumpulnya di OXFORD. Aqhu lupha sarapan pagi jadi aqhu ghax makan deh. S'bnar.nha sich lapar tapi yach udah aqhu makan, makanan yang aku bawa ke Mekarsari ajah deh.

Setelah semuanya ngumpul, kami dibagi 2 bus, bus A dan bus B. Dan aqhu dan Dhea di bus A. Diperjalanan di bus A, kami mendengarkan lagu2. Kami mendengarkan lagu.nHa Derby, Viera, Gruvi, Lucky Laki, Pangeran, Kuburan , dll. Jadi selama di Bus kami tidak merasa bosan dan enjoy bgt. Tapi tetap ajah aqhu gx sabaran sampai ke Mekarsari. Setelah sampai, kami semua ke pendopo u/ melakukan kegiatan menyanyikan yel2, sing a song, dll.

Setelah selesai, kami ke Family Garden. Di Family Garden, kami menanam padi, memandikan kerbau dan melukis camping. Semua itu kami lakukan dengan gembira. Karena kami semua belum pernah merasakan kegiatan seperti itu, salah satunya aqhu. Waktu memandikan kerbau, si Aldi dinaikin ke atas kerbau kira2 sampai 3 kali sama si Irfan, Faiz dll. Setelah selesai kami menyebrangi danau dgn perahu tradisional. Perahunya jalannya lelet banget, nyebelin sich tapi enak aqhu bisa foto2 di perahu itu hehehe.... Di dekat danau itu ada sebuah jembatan yang menjadi tempat syuting film "Kepompong". Stelah itu kita berkeliling dgn menaiki sebuah kereta. Tak terasa berkelilingnya sudah selesai. Dan ada yang membeli souvenir, beli buah dll. Setelah itu kami semua pulang dgn bus. Dan kembali lagi kita mendengarkan lagu2 sehingga tdk membuat kita bosan. Tapi di perjalanan agak sedikit macet jadi pulangnya lama deh... Perjalanan ini sangat menyenangkan, walaupun besoknya tanggal 01 Juni 2009 aku ulangan tapi gx phapha karna aqhu udh belajar sebelumnya. Dan aqhyu yakin yang gx ikut ke mekarsari pasti nyesel deh....

Halloween falls on October 31st each year in North America and other parts of the world. What do you know about Halloween? Do you celebrate it in your country? Here is a little history about it.

Like many other holidays, Halloween has evolved and changed throughout history. Over 2,000 years ago people called the Celts lived in what is not Ireland, the UK , and parts of Northem France. Nobember 1 was their New Year's Day. They believed that the night before the New Year (October 31) was a time when the living and the dead came together.

More than a thousand years ago the Christian church named November 1 All Saints Day (also called All Hallows). This was a special holy day to honor the saints and other people who died for their religion. The night before All Hallows Eve. Later the name was changed to Halloween.

LIke the Celts, the Europeans of that time also believed that the spirits of the dead would visit the earth on Halloween. They worried that evil spirits would cause problems or hurt them. So on that night people wore costumes that looked like ghosts or other evil creatures. They thought if they dressed like that, the spirits would think they were also dead and not harm them.

The tradition of Halloween was carreid to America by the immigrating Europeans. Some of the traditions. changed a little, though. For example, on Halloween in Europe some people would carry lanterns made from turnips. In America, pumkins wew more common. So people began putting candles inside them and using them as lanterns. That is why you see Jack 'o lanterns today.

These days Halloween is not usually considered a religious holiday. it is primarily a fun day for children. Children dress up in costumes like people did a thousand years ago. But instead of worrying about evil spirits, the go from house to house. They knock of doors and say "trick or treat." The owner of each house gives candy or something special to each trick or treater.

Albert Einstein ( biography)

Albert Einstein was born at Ulm, in Wuttemberg, Germany, on March 14, 1879. Six weeks later the family moved to Munich, where he later on began his schooling at the Luitpold Gymnasium. Later, they moved to Italy and Albert continued his education at Aarau, Switzerland and in 1896 he entered the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich to be trained as a teacher in physics and mathematic. In 1901, the year he gained his diploma, he acquired Swiss citizenship and, as he was unable to find a teaching pos, he accepted a position as technical assistant in the Swiss Patent Office. In 1905 he obtained his doctor's degree.

During his stay at the Patent Office, and in his spare time, he produced much of his remakable work and in 1908 he was appointed Privatdozent in Berne. In 1909 he became Professor Extraordinary at Zurich, in 1911 Professor of Theoretical Physics at Prague, returning to Zurich in the following year to fill a similiar post. In 1914 he was appointed Director of the Kaiser Wilhelm Physical Institute and Professor in the University of Berlin. He became a German citizen in 1914 and remained in Berlin until 1933 when he renounced his citizenship for political reasons and emigrated to America to take the position of Theoretical Physics at Princeton*. He became a United States citizen in 1940 and retired from his post in 1945.

After World War II, Einstein was a leading figure in the World Government Movement, he was offered the Presidency of the State of Israel, which he declined, and he collaborated with Dr. Chaim Weizmann in establishing the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Einstein always appeared to have a clear view of the problems of physics and the determination to solve them. He had a strategy of his ownand was able to visualize the main stages on the way to his goal. He regarded his major achievement as mere stepping stones for the next advance.

At the start of his scintific work, Einstein realized the inadequacies of Newtonian mechanics and his special theory of relativity stemmed from an attempt to reconcile the laws of mechanics with laws os the electromagnetic field. He dealt with classical problems of statistical mechanics and problems in which they were merged with quantum theory: this led to and explanation of the Brownian movement of molecules. He investigated the thermal properties of light with a low radiation density and his observations laid the foundation of the photon theory of light.

In his early days in Berlin, Einstein postulated that the correct interpretationof the special theory of relativity must also funisha thory of gravitation and in 1916 he published his paper on the general theory of relativity. During this time he also contributed to the problems of the theory of radiation and statistical mechanics.

In the 1920's, Einstein embarked on the consruction of unified field theories, although he continued to work on the probabilistic interpreattion of quantum theory, and he persevered with this work in America, He contributed to statistical mechanics by his development of the quantum theory of a monatomic gas and he has also accomplished valuavle work in connecton with atomic transition probabilities and relativistic cosmology.

After his retirement he continued to work towards the unification of the basic concepts of physics, taking the opposite approach, geometrisation, to the majority of physicists.

Einstein's researhes are, of course, well chronicled and his more important works ninclude Special Theory of Relativity (1905), Relativity ( English translations, 1920 and 1950 ), General Theory of Relativity (1916), Investigations on Theory of Brownian Movement (1926), and The Evolutionof Physics (1938). Among his non-scientific works, About Zionism (1930), Why War? (1933), My Philosophy (1934), and Out of My Later Years (1950) are perhaps the most important.

Albert Einstein received honorary doctorate degrees in science, medicine and philosophy from many Europeand and American unversities. During the 1920's he lectured in Europe, American and the Far East and he was awarded Fellowships of Memberships of all the leading scientific academies throughout the world. He gained numrous awards in recognition of his work, including the Copley Medal of the Royal Society of London in 1925, and the Franklin Medal of the Franklin Institute in 1935.

Einstein's gifts inevitably resulted in his dwelling much in intellectual solitude and, for relaxation, music played and important part in his life. He married Mileva Maric in 1903 and the had a daughter and two sons; their marriage was dissolved in 1919 and in the same year he married his cousin, Elsa Lowenthal, who died in 1936. He died on April 18, 1955 at Princeton, New Jersey.

Sahabat 'tak membedakan

Ini adalah hari pertamaku masuk sekolah baru. Aku baru saja pindah sekolah dr sekolahku di Bandung. Karna dinas ayahku pindah ke Jakarta aku, mama, dan juga adikku yang lucu Dimas juga ikut ke Jakarta.
"Besok pagi aku mau masuk sekolah baru" pikirku dalam hati. " Cery ayo cepat tidur supaya besok kamu tidak terlambat masuk sekolah barumu" kata mama yg mengingatkanku. " Oke, ma aku tidur duluya. M.. Dimas udah tidur belum? " tanyaku kepada mama. " Udah Dimas udah tidur ayo kamu tidur cepat sayang" jawab mama dengan penuh kasih syang.

Pagipun menjelang dan aku sudah sampai disekolah baruku.

Aku kebingungan mencari kelas 8A, lalu aku bertemu seorang anak perempuan yg cantik dan gayanya gaul banget. Lalu aku bertanya "Maaf, kalau boleh tau kamu tau gx dimana kelas 8a?" tanyaku dengan sopan. Lalu anaku itu menjawab dengan kasar " Kamu ngaca dong kamu lagi ngomong sama siapa?". Karna ku kesal sama anak itu lalu aku menjawab " Aku lagi ngomong sama nenek-nenek peyot!"jawabku dengan suara yg keras. Lalu ada 2 orang perempuan yg menghampiriku dan anak itu. Ternyata mereka berdua itu satu gank sama anak perempuan yg baru aku temui. Lalu kata mereka berdua " Sok banget u ngomong itu sama bos kita!". Jawab aku " Suka-suka aku dong".

Pada saat aku sedang berkelahi sama mereka bertiga, ada seorang anak perempuan yg menarik tanganku untuk menjauh dari mereka bertiga. Lalu aku melihat dibaju sekolah anak itu yg lusuh ada tulisan nama "Tamara" berarti anak itu bernama Tamara. " Kamu ngapain sich tarik tangan aku, Tamara!" kataku. "Lho.. kamu koq tau nama ku Tamara?" tanyanya. " Ya iyalah kan ada dibaju kamu nama itu!" jawabku. " Aku tadi narik tangan kamu, karna aku gx mau ada orang yang keluar dr sekolah ini lagi gara-gara cari gara-gara sama gank The Angels, gank The Angels ya meraka itu. Ketuanya namanya Tania, dan meraka berdua adalah Tasya dan Mikha. Tau gx mereka bertiga adalah anaknya donatur terbesar di sekolah ini.! Oh yach nama kamu siapa yach?". "Oh.. begitu... nama aku Cery Galia Putriana kamu boleh panggil aku Cery.. Oh yach emangnya udah berapa sih yg dikeluarin dri sekolah gara-gara gank The Angels itu Tamara?"tanyaku. "Udah 39 dalam tahun ini dan klo tdi aku gx ngejauhin kamu sama mereka kamu bisa jadi yg ke 40nya tau....." jawab Tamara. "Aku gx takut koq Tamara?" jawabku. " Koq gx takut sich?"

Sebenarnya aku adalah cucu pemilik sekolahan ini dan some day aku bakalan yg mewarisi sekolah ini. Tapi, aku gx mau ngasih tauin Tamara soal ini karna aku pingin punya sahabat yg gx ngebedain aku. Soalnya banyak yg mw jadi temen aku gara-gara aku kaya. Mulai saat itu aku dan Tamara menjalin persahabatan. Aku senang sekali karna aku punya sahabat yg gx ngebedain aku.
Tapi, aku merasa ada yg beda sama Tamara sekarang, dia menjauhi aku dan dia gx mau ngomong sama aku....

Suatu hari Cery bertemu Tamara didekat pos satpam dan Cery penasaran kenapa Tamara menjauhi dia. "Tamara tunggu..... aku mau ngomong sama kamu!" kataku sambil berlari mengejar Tamara. " Kamu mau ngomong apa?" jawab Tamara sambil menghentikan larinya. " Aku mau ngomong sama kamu, kenapa kamu menjauhi aku? Aku punya salah yach sama kamu?" jawabku. " Cery kamu gx pny salah sama aku, aku tau kamu adalah cucunya pak Tanoto kan yg pnya sekolah ini? Dan berarti kamu org kaya. Aku gx mau pny teman orang kaya karna semua orng kaya hanya memanfaatkan orng kecil kaya aku kan?" Jawab Tamara. " Kamu tau kenapa aku gx mau kamu tau soal aku sebenarnya, karna aku gx mau kamu mw jd teman aku karna aku org kaya tapi org yg biasa ajah.... dan soal pendapatmu org kaya itu memanfaatkan org kecil itu salah gx semua org kaya itu sama seperti yg kamu pikirin Tamara! Sekarang kamu udh tau tntng aku yg sebenarnya, kamu tetap maukan jdi sahabat aku Tamara! " jawabku. "Aku mau koq tapi kamu gx bakalan jadi yg aku pikirkan sebelumnya yach " Jawab Tamara. " Tenang ajah Tamara kamu akan menjadi best friend aku selamanya......"
